I wholeheartedly agree and believe that this best selling author and financial guru says it best.  We have all been taught that the American dream is achieved by going to school, getting a great education and then obtaining that dream job.  Well, after doing that for most of my life and not obtaining a true sense of contentment or what I envisioned as $uccess, I began to question the status quo…  You know, the 40/40/40 Rule. If you have never heard of it, let me share this interesting reality with you.  The 40/40/40 Rule goes like this:  “You work 40 Hours a week for 40 Years to retire on 40% of the income (you earned) which wasn’t enough anyway.”  If you are like me, the first time I heard it, an extremely loud siren sounded in my head, in other words, I experienced a wake up call and Made a Decision (got M.A.D) about “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.” I finally realized that path was not the answer or rather, not the ONLY answer. What I decided to do next was launch out into the deep but it began with me being open to new opportunities and possibilities. I can truly say that life for me and my family will never be the same again as we continue to grow and move forward on our journey to success.

Who’s in Your Network?

So true and relevant for those aspiring to achieve larger than life goals and dreams.  With that quote in mind, I know you have heard the old saying/adage that goes like this, “it’s not what you know, but who you know.”  I personally have always heard it but never really appreciated it until recently, that is.  In the last two plus years, I have had an opportunity to meet and work with some phenomenal individuals from all walks and facets of life.  These individuals all have certain common goals in mind, a desire to move to the next level in their lives as well as help others to do and achieve the same.  As a result, I too now have those same desires and goals and have also grown tremendously in my personal, professional and last but certainly not least, my spiritual life.
